Nintendo’s drip feed of information on Pokémon X and Y continued this weekend with the latest episode of Pokémon Smash, where fans got to see some brief new footage of the games in action (complete with excitable hosts cheering in the background).
The most noteworthy thing about this new footage is that it confirms fishing will once again be returning in the sixth-generation titles. In the clip, one of the hosts explores a never-before-seen beach area and casts his lure into the ocean, landing an Octillery. Shortly after, the program cuts to a clip of the host surfing to a nearby island, where he does battle with another cephalopod– the newly announced Inkay— in the grass.
