3rd Place, Holiday Hell — Clock Town from Majora’s Mask
Folk dancers… inviting.
Sure, Clock Town may not look so bad, aside from the falling moon. It looks like a quaint, somewhat quiet village that is, more or less, unremarkable. Its annual festival surely draws in some tourists, but something tells me that this place isn’t a booming vacation spot. Clock Town’s biggest drawback is the people who live there. To put it bluntly, almost all of them are either completely out of touch with reality or are in denial. If the moon was looming overhead so low, I would be much, much more worried. I don’t think that I would feel comfortable staying in a place where the people have such an easy time accepting imminent doom. I suppose that my point of view on Clock Town is based on the idea that a place can look nice, but that doesn’t matter if the people can’t live up to the appearance.
skyloft and delfino island are good vacation spots, skyloft tops delfino because, well, its a freaking floating paradise, imagine the view of the cascade falling into the sky, wow, and termina is the worst place to be, everything about that place is just, scary and weird.
I’d still like to visit Termina the most. With the Ocarina of Time, your vacation there could literally last forever!
And I’m sad to see no mention of Wuhu Island (though I agree with Isle Delfino being number one; I always thought it was the best part of Mario Sunshine). :p
Hmm… I’d like to go to that island Aidan gets lost on in Shipwrecked
