It’s getting warmer isn’t it? The summer months are approaching for many for us (sorry Australiasia, our apologies! Have a scarf) and when the sun begins to shine, many of us seek to fly far away to sun soaked locales for a week or two. But where are you planning to go? Thanks to the Eurozone crisis, the rising cost of air travel and the fact that most of Northern Africa is still in political turmoil (though Tunisia is still available at 90% off!) your former go-to vacation spot may be out the question this year. Hard times, we know.
However, have you considered holidaying in Videogameland? Now I know what you’re thinking– that it’s imaginary –but if you’re going to let that stop you then you’re practically against fun as a concept. We believe that the worlds of Nintendo gaming have many a perfect vacation in mind for you, dear reader, but at the same time we are aware that not every platforming level, monster-laden forrest or evil dungeon is holiday-heaven. (Some are only two star!)
So, with that in mind, here are the best (and worst) Nintendo vacation spots. Book at your own peril/have a lovely trip! (And let us know how it goes in the comments below.)
skyloft and delfino island are good vacation spots, skyloft tops delfino because, well, its a freaking floating paradise, imagine the view of the cascade falling into the sky, wow, and termina is the worst place to be, everything about that place is just, scary and weird.
I’d still like to visit Termina the most. With the Ocarina of Time, your vacation there could literally last forever!
And I’m sad to see no mention of Wuhu Island (though I agree with Isle Delfino being number one; I always thought it was the best part of Mario Sunshine). :p
Hmm… I’d like to go to that island Aidan gets lost on in Shipwrecked
