ORIGINAL STORY 09.28.20
Did you sleep on Jump Rope Challenge when it launched back in June? Well, you might want to cut your nap short if you’d like to give the game a play, as it will be leaving the Nintendo Switch eShop this Wednesday, September 30.
The game was developed by Nintendo staffers who suddenly found themselves stuck at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In an effort to bring some fun to everyone cooped up in their houses, these designers whipped together this fun little distraction (it even got an unpaid DLC update). While Jump Rope Challenge is a free game, it was sadly only ever going to be available for a limited time. Whether or not the game will ever be reissued in some form is unknown, so if you want it, now is the time.
