Sue Richards! Dr. Doom! More!
Marvel Cosmic Invasion is a fantastic beat ’em up that launched late last year to quite a bit of acclaim. It has gotten several updates since the, but the biggest by far will be The Siege of Castle Doom. Announced back in August, we knew that the DLC would involve Dr. Doom in some way, with the promise of new characters and a new game mode, as well, but it wasn’t clear when it would all arrive beyond a vague fall release window. Now, we finally know: November 10, 2026. Take a look:
So, we now know that the two DLC characters will be Doom himself as well as the Invisible Woman, Sue Richards. Here’s how Dotemu describes the two:
- The Invisible Woman: Cosmic rays have given archeologist and explorer Susan Storm massive light-bending powers and force field manipulation. She now fights for the survival of the galaxy as The Invisible Woman, bringing in never-seen-before abilities to Marvel Cosmic Invasion.
- Doctor Doom: Equipped with high-powered tech armor of his own design, along with occult skills and his genius intellect, Doctor Doom is the biggest threat in the universe… and Annihilus definitely won’t be up to the challenge.
As for the new game mode? Still nothing other than that it is “centered” on Dr. Doom. Dotemu says more info will be revealed soon. In the meanwhile, we’re now at two of the four main members of the Fantastic Four for the Cosmic Invasion roster. Will we ever get to see Johnny and Reed? What the heck is the new game mode going to be? Why not speculate in the comments and on social media!
