The Yo-kai Watch series has been around for a decent chunk of time at this point. In the last six years, it’s seen multiple entries on Nintendo 3DS, and in Japan, Yo-kai Watch 4 released on the Nintendo Switch recently, marking the first time the series has been on a system other than 3DS.
In a move that will introduce new players to the series as Nintendo phases out the 3DS, Level-5 announced in the latest episode of its YouTube series that they’re bringing the original Yo-kai Watch 3DS title to Switch. The Yo-kai Watch announcement apparently starts at 1:22 in the video below, though you’ll have to be able to understand Japanese for the details:
For those who don’t speak Japanese, it will launch on September 30 alongside the Nintendo Switch Lite and Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, Level-5’s next anticipated title.
Will you be adding Yo-Kai Watch to your Switch library? Did you play the game on 3DS, and if so, what were your thoughts on it? Let us know below.
