The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated films of 2026, and it’ll be here before you know it: the movie is set to hit theaters next April. The first trailer was shown off last month, but Nintendo and Universal have quickly followed that up with another stinger during last night’s The Video Game Awards ceremony. Here it is:
The clip shows off Mario and Luigi (as the name of the trailer states) getting into a brawl with Bowser, Jr. It’s a great piece of action and (outside of the poor representation of Princess Peach in these films) yet another reason to get excited for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
