Nintendo Switch 2 launches in less than two weeks (06.05.25, to be exact) and anticipation is through the roof for the new console. Stores like GameStop will be doing midnight launches for the system, and will even have some stock available for those who weren’t able to snag themselves a pre-order. Among the retail locations that will be joining the fun is Nintendo itself at its two brick-and-mortar locations here in the United States: New York and San Francisco.

Entry to either event is being handled on a first come, first served basis. The festivities will kick off beginning June 4, 2025 at 1 PM PST at the SF location, 3 PM ET in NY. That’s not where the fun ends, however—there’s a bit more:
Following the celebration, there will be a separate Nintendo Switch 2 Shopping Session at each store at 9pm PT/12am ET, which will require a Warp Pipe Pass. Details coming soon.

This last bit is the reservation-only part of the event. It’s at this point that attendees will have a chance to buy a Nintendo Switch 2 console. The details on that will be coming soon, but we do know that you’ll need a Warp Pipe Pass and that it’s 9 PM PST for SF and 12 AM PST (on 06.05.25) in NY.
