Thunder Lotus, creators of Sundered, Jotun, and Spiritfarer, have announced a Spiritfarer documentary releasing Monday, July 19 at 11am PT.
TheEscapist will be hosting the premiere on YouTube. The Thunder Lotus team will be joining in the live chat. The documentary was made from with interviews with the team, where they reminisced on stories that led to Spiritfarer‘s development. They also discuss what impact the game had on their lives both before and after launch.
Spiritfarer is self described as, “a cozy management game about dying.” It is an animated, resource management game where you play as a spirit guide helping spirits come to terms with their death. It is a heart-warming, wholesome game. Read more about it on 2020 Nintendo eShop Indie Game of the Year.
