Nintendo Switch 2 is getting one heck of a release later this month: Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness is coming to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. The 2005 GameCube title will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2, as all GameCube games tragically are. Here’s the announcement trailer:
Welcome to the Orre region, where as the character Michael you’ll be purifying Shadow Pokémon that have been corrupted by the evil Team Cipher. It’s something of a cult classic at this point, and although it serves as sequel to Pokémon Colosseum, alas, no word on when or if that game will be coming to Switch Online. We don’t have a firm release date for Gale of Darkness, but once we learn it, we’ll share it with all of you.
