The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses orchestral concert series was an aural treat for fans of the beloved video game series. The concerts drew large crowds and were enough of a success that they’ll see a spiritual follow-up in the form of another beloved Nintendo franchise, Pokémon. Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions will reunite key members of the Zelda Orchestra as they perform music from the near-20 year history of the franchise.
The series will kick off on August 15 at the Warner Theater in Washington DC. The date has been strategically selected, as the next two days the city will also host the 2014 Pokémon World Championships. As of this writing, we only know the second date on the tour, which will be held on September 19 at Mann’s Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, though more dates are expected to follow.
Ticket information can be found at the link below. Stay tuned to Nintendojo where we’ll have more information on the tour as it develops.
