Yesterday, Nintendo of America put out a video detailing a new mobile app to listen to your favorite Nintendo music on the go! The app released alongside the announcement, and currently features music from current Nintendo Switch titles such as Splatoon 3, Super Mario Odyssey and Pikmin 4, alongside some older titles like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Nintendogs. The app is free, but requires a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to use.
There are some neat features in the app that wouldn’t be on other music services, such as spoiler prevention for games and natural looping of tracks. The app also comes with fun pre-loaded playlists based on characters and mood, helping to give that iconic Nintendo feeling.
