Get hyped, Monster Hunter fans!
At a recent Capcom Event, the company has released some new information about the series’ next installment, Monster Hunter 4. A good chunk of the reason why this information has been released is also because there is now an official release date in Japan. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and director Kaname Fujioka have discussed some of the newest features that will be introduced in Monster Hunter 4.
The two talked about both features that utilized the technology at their hands but also utilized the evolution of gameplay in general. There’s one feature where you can use the 3DS’s touch screen to touch a village that you would like to visit. Online play has also been confirmed, allowing you to select targets, descriptions, and passwords for any room that you would like to create. And there is a Recruit Hunter option that is said to be more or less like keeping an eye on your friends list. Of course, there are still several features and other nuggets of information that we will find out in due time.
The game is set to be released in Japan on September 14. Word is still out on North America and Europe, however.
