As has been demonstrated quite aptly in the past, Pokémon and pinball go together like peanut butter and jelly. And while this has been proven in video games, Stern Pinball is readying to show the same is true in real life. The company revealed a stinger showing off that Pokémon will be featured as a full-size, real life machine. You can see the brief clip for yourself, below:
This sounds pretty cool, but it is decidedly a premium item when you start factoring in pricing. Here’s the breakdown:
- Pro ($6,999)
- Premium ($9,699)
- Limited Edition ($12,999 – only 750 games globally)
Oof, that’s… a lot. However, in fairness, these are real deal pinball machines that you would typically only find in arcades and bars. Meaning, these are money making machines just like any other arcade fascination. Still, it’s nice to dream, and who knows, maybe one will pop up in a pizza shop or a pub near you. There’s no release date, but as we learn more, we’ll share it with all of you.
