The 42nd Maximus Cup is kicking off later this week, and this time around fans will be treated to a theme based on Splatoon 3 in Tetris 99. It was only a matter of time before the popular multiplayer shooter joined the Tetris 99 ranks, but it’s nonetheless surprising how long it’s taken for Nintendo to bring the series together. You can get a look at the Splatoon 3 Edition theme in this snazzy new trailer:
Stop us if you’ve heard this one, but if you’d like to keep this gorgeous theme for yourself after the competition closes on 08.19.24, you’ll have to earn 100 event points first.
