During the Wii era, Nintendo released a number of experimental titles designed to appeal to casual gamers. Wii Music was a bit of a flop, but Wii Sports and Wii Fit propelled system sales. Surprisingly, Nintendo has yet to give Switch owners a new iteration in the Wii Fit franchise, but that could very well change next week! Today, Nintendo released a cryptic new trailer hyping a strange new peripheral. Take a look below!
The peripheral certainly seems like the kind of thing that could be used for a new fitness game, doesn’t it? At the very least, it seems like it would be quite a bit cheaper (not to mention easier to store) than the Balance Board!
It’s all conjecture at this time, but we won’t have long to wait to find out! Nintendo will release more information on the peripheral September 12! Stay tuned to Nintendojo for more as it develops!
