Nintendo recently announced on the official Nintendo DE social media channels that it will be attending Gamescom this summer. The event will be held from August 26 to August 30, 2026 with further details to be shared at a later date.
Nintendo had a huge presence at last year’s Gamescom, hosting demos for several Switch 2 titles such as Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Pokemon Legends Z-A, Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and many more. Assuming it’s similar to last year, we should expect more demo showcases for the company’s appearance at the 2026 event. But what might those demos be? We’ll have to see as Nintendo approaches its traditional Nintendo Direct time of the year when it shows off all the big reveals for the next six months and beyond.
Stay tuned for more updates in the near future.
