Home Sweet Home, Yggdrazil Group’s first-person horror title, is being ported to Nintendo Switch with the help of Mastiff, the developer has announced.
Home Sweet Home follows the story of Tim, whose life has changed drastically since the mysterious disappearance of his wife. One evening, after she has been missing for quite some time, Tim wakes up in a mysterious and frightening place rather than in his own home. He is pursued by a rancorous female spirit as he tries to escape, but is this place actually his home? What frightening secrets does it hold? Does it have some connection to his wife’s disappearance?
The environment and narrative is inspired by Thai myths and, while the gameplay focuses on stealth, puzzles and investigations are also thrown into the mix to keep things interesting. Check out the trailer below for a look at the game in action:
The game released on Steam last September to Very Positive reviews, so here’s hoping that the Switch port will be received just as well. Although an exact release date hasn’t been given, we can expect to see it “soon”.
