Nintendo have become rather fond of their fans of late, it seems. Nowhere is this more evident than the recently announced contest for fan art pertaining to the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD. The competition, running from today on Facebook, will see five of the best pieces of art receiving a free Wii U and copy of the game.
However, perhaps the most prestigious prize is not material. As well as the console and game, the five winners (and fifty runners-up) will have their art shown as a backdrop to the Symphony of the Goddesses concerts currently being toured by Nintendo. As the icing on the cake, the five lucky artists will have their art displayed in the lobby of the final concert, which takes place in Seattle on September 12th.
This is a wonderful opportunity for any budding or established artists to see their work displayed to an audience of thousands, and we’ll be anxiously awaiting submissions to see the brilliant work produced.
