If you’re a fighting fan, you’ll be pleased with this week’s selection of eShop sales. Classic beat-em-up Street Fighter II, as well as its special editions Super and Turbo, are ripe for the picking. But it gets better: buy one of the three, and the other two can be purchased with a 50% discount until August 29th. In addition, 3DS bestsellers from Ubisoft are also discounted, such as Rayman Origins and the incredibly long-winded Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars.
In related news, retro action in the form of Ninja Gaiden II comes to the 3DS eShop today, as well as a rather engaging looking puzzle game in the form of Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward, from Aksys Games. This title is a direct sequel to the well-received 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, and places the player in the role of Sigma, kidnapped and awoken in an abandoned warehouse.
And if you can’t get enough of Perry the Platypus, Phineas and Ferb: Quest for Cool Stuff will be released on both the 3DS and Wii U eShop services on August 27.
Too bad the Phineas and Ferb game comes out at the END of those 104 days of summer, *sigh*
