Bertil Hörberg, creator and sole developer of Gunman Clive, has revealed on Twitter that the game’s sequel has been submitted to NOA Lot Check for review. That means that the game’s development process is now complete, and we should expect the sequel to hit the 3DS eShop within the next couple of weeks! While that news is exciting enough on its own, it will also debut at a very affordable $3 price point!
Interestingly, Hörberg’s tweets show some reservation about the game’s low price. He gave the original Gunman Clive a budget price because the game had already been available on other formats. That title set a bit of a precedent, leaving the developer little choice in terms of what to charge for the sequel. It’s certainly a risky move for a small developer to charge so little. Hopefully the game performs well, and lives up to the very high quality of the original game. Fortunately, the previously released trailer already shows a lot of promise. We’ve embedded it below, so take a look!
