Last month, Funko surprised fans with the announcement of a pair of exciting new Pokémon toys. This month, the company has revealed two more upcoming releases, one of which is part of their Pop line, while the other joins the A Day With Pikachu line.
April’s A Day With Pikachu entry is a throwback to the old “April showers bring May Flowers” adage. Pikachu shares the spotlight this month with Castform in its Sunny form. Perhaps some wishful thinking on Pikachu’s part?
Next up is Charmander! The Fire-type starter seemed like a natural choice for Funko’s next Pokémon Pop after Bulbasaur, but it’s still great to see the character depicted in vinyl. This likely means a certain Tiny Turtle Pokémon will see release later this year. Time will tell on that one, but Charmander is set for release in May.
