Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will be coming to theaters on December 20, 2024 (with star Jim Carrey returning as Dr. Robotnik, no less!). If the anticipation is simply too much for you to bear, then perhaps the upcoming Knuckles spin-off TV show zooming to Paramount+ will be enough to satiate you until then. The streaming service has finally offered fans a look at the first trailer, which you can see for yourself right here:
Knuckles, with Idris Elba reprising the title role, is a six-episode series set between Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 that will be making its bow on Paramount+ starting April 26, 2024. Here’s a brief synopsis from Paramount:
“The new live-action series will follow Knuckles (Idris Elba) on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade (Adam Pally) as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior.”
As if that’s not enough Sonic excitement for fans, SEGA also recently announced that Sonic X Shadow Generations will be hitting Nintendo Switch this fall. Are you looking forward to a year jam-packed with echidnas and hedgehogs? Let us know in the comments and on social meda!
