Spyro has a long history on Nintendo platforms. While the character’s first three outings long remained exclusive to Sony platforms, the character appeared in a number of titles on Game Boy Advance, GameCube and just about every Nintendo system since. Soon, Nintendo fans will finally have a chance to play those first three adventures when Spyro Reignited Trilogy arrives on Switch!
Announced during Nintendo’s E3 presentation, the anthology appeared last year on PS4 and Xbox One. Rather than a straight port of Insomniac’s original offerings, the compilation offers all three games remade from the ground up. Developed by Toys for Bob (the team behind Activision’s Skylanders games), Spyro Reignited Trilogy received fairly strong reviews upon release.
