While the addition of the Nintendo Music app to mobile devices has certainly been a welcome one, it’s not without its customary Nintendo quirks. The chief one among them being a relative dearth of music at launch. Given the decades of soundtracks that Nintendo can populate the app with, many series only feature one or two entries when there are multiple to choose from.
A prime example of this sort of omission is the Donkey Kong Country series, which only had one soundtrack on the app… until now. Graciously, Nintendo has brought the music from Donkey Kong Country 2 to the platform, which users can stream and listen to right now. Alas, it seems that tunes will be coming piecemeal to Nintendo Music, but it wouldn’t be a Nintendo service otherwise, now would it?
