If there’s one thing that the trio of Splatoon gaves can argue to be lacking, it’s a robust single-player campaign. Sure, solo players have always had a bit of story to bite into, but Splatoon is largely about its multiplayer modes—until now. Splatoon Raiders is looking to mix things up with a proper single-player-focused adventure. One that will be launching in the not-so-distant future: July 23, 2026.
Splatoon Raiders casts players as a character named the Mechanic who is working with a trio of musicians named Deep Cut as they explore the Spirhalite Islands. You’ll be taking on the Salmonids with a bunch of familiar and new weapons in your search for treasure. Deep Cut, comprised of Frye, Shiver, and Big Man from Splatoon 3, look to be playable to some capacity. Given that the game does support up to three other players, odds are that your companions in co-op will be those three. We’ll update if we learn more!
Naturally, a new Splatoon game might have many of you wondering if there will be new amiibo, and yes, that will be the case. Here are the figurines:

The amiibo will be available on the same day as Splatoon Raiders, so you can look forward to taking everything home all at once. It will be interesting to see if the Splatoon mechanics will be able to carry an entire game as opposed to the usual multiplayer hijinks that they usually support.
