Have you downloaded so many home screen themes for your Nintendo 3DS that you lose sleep at night torturing yourself over which one you should use? Well, Nintendo has the answer you’ve been looking for!
3DS Version 9.3.0-21 has gone live and it includes a new shuffle feature that will allow you to have your home screen theme change every time you turn your system off or place it in sleep mode. You can select up to 10 of your themes as favorites to be shuffled through.
The other new features of this update revolve around the home screen as well. You now will have the option to take a screen shot of both screens while on the home screen, and you will also be able to download updates from the home screen as well.
Personally, I’m indifferent to the whole theme thingy (my 3DS spends most of its time running Smash Bros.), but what themes do plan to have shuffling about your 3DS?

The shuffle idea is kind of pointless but still cool, while the improved screenshot ability is also a nice touch. Now if only there was a way to create our own custom backgrounds!
I know these aren’t a big deal… but little touches like these make the whole idea of customized backgrounds more interesting and fun. Plus it sure beats “improved stability”… hahaha.
