10. Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut (Wii U)

Current Release Date: Q4 2013
First person puzzle games have become somewhat of a phenomenon since Portal was introduced, and Toxic Games’ Q.U.B.E seems to be following up on its success. Similarly, you are placed in a testing chamber in which you must solve puzzles to escape. However, what sets Q.U.B.E apart from Portal is the protagonist’s block manipulating gloves. These gloves serve as the main mechanic of the game, helping the player move around various blocks in physics based puzzles, which each react differently depending on the type of block you are manipulating. It’s quite fitting for a game that has a title that stands for Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion!
Wii U will be getting an updated, extended version of the game called Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut. This version of the game will feature an all-new story, a different original soundtrack, new puzzles to solve, and a time-trial mode, effectively making this the definitive version of the game.
Two Brothers: the way I’m seeing it, kinda carries a Nintendo Game-Boy look while adding some color, clearly taking a page out of Frank Miller’s playbook
