If you read last week’s Industry Chatter (and of course you did, we know how you love it so) then you’ll know that there’s quite a rumour going around claiming that Nintendo is set to announce a huge 3DS title on September 13th at a press event. Now obviously we don’t know exactly what the game is (Reggie stopped slipping us secret information ever since Andrew beat him in an ass-kicking, name-taking competition) but we can always speculate. Speculation is fun.
What do you think Nintendo will announce for 3DS next month? What do you want them to announce? With the 3DS just beginning to slowly no longer suck, every single PR decision Nintendo makes could be crucial to the future of their flailing handheld. An amazing game could drive consumers to snap up every last 3DS off the shelves while a PR flop could drive yet another nail into the console’s coffin.

SMASH BROS. 3D! Need I say more?
I was going to include that in the poll but then that’s technically already been announced. And Sakurai confirmed it’s years away so I doubt they would trot it out again for no reason? :P
Something else: Find Mii 2.
I WANT an online F-Zero, but that would be too awesome. Nintendo doesn’t want their fans to cream their shorts. It’ll most-likely be a boring Mii party game.
My (plausible) wishlist:
– Metroid Dread
– Eternal Darkness 2
– F-Zero Online (JasonMaivia: you beat me to it :^)
– Kirby 3D (Mario 64-style)
The list I know better than to wish for:
– Star Fox 2 (modern and SNES version)
– Project HAMMER
– Xenoblade 3D
– Portal 1+2 3D
I’m hoping for a new Punch Out, Metroid, Donkey Kong or perhaps Pikmin 3DS game.
