When Zombieland arrived in theaters back in 2009, the film proved to be an unlikely smash. With entertaining characters, a great sense of humor and some solid horror elements, fans were naturally eager to see a sequel. It’s taken 10 years for that sequel to finally arrive, but this October, Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita and Little Rock will return to theaters. While that would be exciting enough on its own, the film will be accompanied by a game when Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip arrives on Switch!
A top-down, twin-stick shooter, the M-rated title will allow players to control the film’s returning characters, as well as some new faces from the upcoming sequel. Four players will be able to come together for local co-op, while daily and weekly online challenges will give players an incentive to stick around beyond the game’s traditional campaign.
Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip will arrive on Switch October 15, just a few days before the film. Do you plan on checking out the title? Let us know in the comments below!
