Following the July 10 Nintendo Treehouse broadcast that detailed Paper Mario: The Origami King, Nintendo and developer WayForward had announced they would be making a special announcement about a licensed third-party game. Well, it turns out that the title WayForward is working on is Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia! Take a peek:
Team up with your favorite @Bakugan and battle your way towards becoming the Bakugan Battle League Champion when #BakuganChampions of Vestroia comes exclusively to #NintendoSwitch on Nov. 3rd!https://t.co/DHRL9w18mR pic.twitter.com/Pr0lKoR2vN

Here’s the official word on the game:
“The game will center around an all-new original story and the franchise’s signature Bakugan brawls as players befriend powerful creatures known as Bakugan and customize teams for fiercely strategic head-to-head battles.”
It is arguably not the news Nintendo fans were hoping for (a 2D Metroid by WayForward has been a longtime desire among many of the Nintendo faithful), but anything developed by WayForward tends to be more than worthy of some good faith. Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia launches on November 6.
