Old school PlayStation fans likely remember Tomba with some fondness, and if you’re among them, or just curious about the series in general, this month will be something of a treat, as Tomba 2: The Evil Swine Return Special Edition is finally confirmed to be launching. The game, which is being published by Limited Run Games, was initially announced all the way back in 2024. Now, the company has confirmed that it will come to Nintendo Switch starting December 15, 2025.
Unlike the original Tomba, Tomba 2 is a 3D adventure. LRG is sprucing this version up, however—here’s everything you can expect from this rerelease:
- Gorgeous 3D graphics that instantly transport you to Tomba’s world
- All new weapons, items and costumes to collect and use against the Evil Pigs
- A massive 137 different missions to complete
- New exclusive features such as rewind and save anywhere
- A museum filled with rare artwork and much more
It wouldn’t be a modern rerelease without rewind and save anywhere, now, would it? Does all of this get you excited to play Tomba 2? Share with us below and on social media!
