Following the upcoming Spider-Man movie, Activision and Beenox announced The Amazing Spider-Man 2 at New York’s Comic-Con for both Wii U and 3DS. The game will be released in spring 2014 and will also be available on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.
Much like the first entry in the series, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will feature open-world gameplay that takes place in New York City. While the game is based on the world portrayed in the movie, it will feature a completely different storyline and will allow players to take control of both Spider-Man and Peter Parker.
