Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection has received a new update courtesy of developer Digital Eclipse. Well, with today’s update, now it does, and a handful of other changes have also been implemented:
The #TMNTCowabungaCollection update is going live today! A small but important update adds TMNT III NES online play as well as even more bonus content in the Turtles’ Lair.
Watch for it shortly on Xbox, PS4/5, Switch & Steam; it’s rolling out now. Thanks @Konami! #TMNT pic.twitter.com/pPV0NuIQOS

Not only is TMNT III now playable online, but there have been extra goodies added to the bonus content in the Turtles’ Lair section of the game. The update should be available now, simply navigate to the game and hit update if you don’t have your console set for automatic updates.
