Something is lurking just behind…
Japanese folklore fuels the story at the heart of Kitsune: The Journey of Adashino. This 3D action-adventure game from room6 stars a fox girl and her frog companion trying to survive on a mysterious island. Take a first look at some of the gameplay in this trailer from yesterday’s Nintendo Indie World Showcase:
The mysterious island is shrouded in darkness, with pockets of candlelight and neon signs to guide your way. Evil oni lurk in the darkness and will try to end your journey, so navigating through the shadows with limited light is at the core of the game’s challenge. Escape sequences will get your heart pounding as you scramble for survival. Kitsune: The Journey of the Adashino will come to Nintendo Switch 2 in spring 2027.
