THQ Nordic has confirmed that SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is coming to Nintendo Switch on June 23. The confirmation comes after an Xbox Live listing leaked the release date as June 23, which was different than the May 23 release date seen previously on a Nintendo infographic earlier this year.

After solidifying June 23 as the launch date, THQ Nordic also announced that preorders for the game are open now. If you were a big fan of this now-classic PlayStation 2 title, you might be interested in the two special edition versions of the game that are coming out, as well.
