Sonic Frontiers was… a little rough around the edges when it launched on Nintendo Switch back in 2022. At its core, the game is a take on the free-roaming of Zelda: Breath of the Wild mixed with the Blue Blur’s customary speed and platforming. One of the bigger hangups for the game being on Nintendo Switch was that the game simply couldn’t run as well as it did on other platforms. Now, it seems, SEGA might be prepping the title for a comeback if a South Korean ratings board listing is to be believed.
Sonic Frontiers: Definitive Edition has been given a rating by The Game Rating and Administration Committee of South Korea. Although the listing doesn’t specifically designate any Nintendo platform for the game, the likelihood of it not coming to Switch 2, well… come on. Odds are good that if this is legit, then the Definitive Edition of Sonic Frontiers might well be on its way. Once we learn something a bit more definitive, we’ll be sure to share it with all of you.
