Following his long awaited return to gaming at last year’s E3, Pit the angel returned at this year’s conference to show off his unique blend of aerial gameplay and double-sword combat. As well as being accompanied by a husky sidekick (who looked like he had fallen out of a Final Fantasy game) we saw a wide variety of different scenarios include massive aerial scenes with large ships and demonic dragons. The montage was voice-overed with a dialogue between Palutena and Pit about the return of the powerful and evil goddess, Medusa. We think Pit’s voice is set to break any day now.
The biggest revelation in the game’s latest trailer is the inclusion of a 3-on-3 multiplayer battle mode as well as AR functionality.
