So the rumors were true! Nintendo’s cross-series fighter makes its debut appearance on Wii U AND 3DS with a new Super Smash Bros. game. While we didn’t get to see anything of the game, Iwata informed the conference audience that when Smash Bros. director, Masahiro Sakurai, was asked which platform he would like to see the next instalment in the fighting franchise appear on, he decided that both Wii U and 3DS should feature. There will also be some form of connection between the two titles but to what extent and exactly how is not yet clear at this time.
