It’s hard to overstate just how unlikely a success story Shantae has proven to be. Debuting in a self-titled Game Boy Color game released during the system’s dying days, Shantae has gone on to become a beloved industry icon, appearing across a number of different platforms in four well-regarded titles. That number will soon increase, however, as WayForward has announced Shantae 5, set to debut later this year!
