Recently, a rumor has emerged about the possibility of a new Batman title developed by Rocksteady Studios, developers of the Arkham series of games. While this story has been thrown around previously, recent reports suggest that the rumor may hold a little more water this time. Rocksteady’s last project, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, failed to live up to expectations and soon found itself out of favor and losing support within a year of launch. The general consensus is that now would be a good time to get their footing back by working on a series they know.
Rocksteady is looking to develop a new single-player Batman game.
The game would still be years away from release.
