Super Mario Bros. Wonder was announced to be getting a Nintendo Switch 2 expansion back in September of last year dubbed Meetup in Bellabel Park. Nintendo has peeled back the curtain on its plans for the game, including a proper launch date. Check it out in this video:

Let’s get the least exciting bit out of the way, which is that Super Mario Bros. Wonder on Switch 2 will hit stores starting March 26, 2026. More exciting, arguably, is the bevy of things that this edition of the game will bring to the table, including:

  • Rosalina as a playable character, with a controllable Luma character for 2-player co-op—with Mouse Controls, to boot!
  • Game Room Plaza where you can engage in local or online multiplayer fun, with six minigames to choose from.
  • Camp Central is home to the Toad Brigade, where players can engage in training challenges.
  • The Koopalings are back in a big, big way—thank goodness.

Finally, here’s a glimpse at the three amiibo that will be available on launch day:

Does all of this have you excited to replay Mario Wonder—or play it for the first time? Why not share your feelings with us below and online!
