Super Mario Bros. Wonder was announced to be getting a Nintendo Switch 2 expansion back in September of last year dubbed Meetup in Bellabel Park. Nintendo has peeled back the curtain on its plans for the game, including a proper launch date. Check it out in this video:
Let’s get the least exciting bit out of the way, which is that Super Mario Bros. Wonder on Switch 2 will hit stores starting March 26, 2026. More exciting, arguably, is the bevy of things that this edition of the game will bring to the table, including:
- Rosalina as a playable character, with a controllable Luma character for 2-player co-op—with Mouse Controls, to boot!
- Game Room Plaza where you can engage in local or online multiplayer fun, with six minigames to choose from.
- Camp Central is home to the Toad Brigade, where players can engage in training challenges.
- The Koopalings are back in a big, big way—thank goodness.
