A long-awaited feature of Pokémon HOME, the cloud-based storage service for all things Pocket Monsters, has been the integration of mobile sensation Pokémon GO. Pokémon HOME from the outset has promised to bring Pokémon from across the franchise’s largest platforms and games under one umbrella, and that reality is closer than ever. Today, The Pokémon Company revealed that Pokémon HOME and Pokémon GO will finally connect by the end of this year.

What’s more, players will be able to get a crack at the Mythical Pokémon Meltan, which will appear for a limited time on the map in-game. Again, there’s only a release window at this point, but with October almost upon us there are only a handful of months left in the year, so word of when this connectivity will go live is likely coming sooner rather than later.
