On Wii U, the survival horror genre hasn’t exactly been well represented. Outside of ZombiU and Resident Evil: Revelations, there haven’t been a whole lot of options for gamers looking for a scare.
Once Bitten, Twice Dead will give survival horror fans a unique new option on the Nintendo eShop. The upcoming title from developer Dark Day Interactive is a first-person zombie shooter with a graphic style resembling something out of Minecraft or Cubivore. Despite the cubic style, the game promises plenty of blood and gore, which you can see in the trailer that we’ve mirrored below!
While it may not offer up the same scares as Fatal Frame: The Black Haired Shrine Maiden, Once Bitten, Twice Dead does look like it will help fill a much needed role in the Wii U library. The game promises to offer plenty of different options for players, including open world gameplay, multiplayer options, and even an outbreak mode where the player will take on the role of an infected.
