The Nintendo Switch Online mobile app continues to be a largely perfunctory piece of software for many players, and the update to version 1.7.0 likely won’t do much to change that. According to the app’s update notes, here is what version 1.7.0 has brought to the table:
“Various issues are now resolved.”
Well.. that is certainly good to know! What those “issues” are is ultimately not stated, but rest assured that updating to this latest iteration of the software will mean a smoother, safer experience. All jesting aside, the Switch Online app is actually pretty legit for getting in some voice chat while playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons, so if nothing else give it a download just to try that.
