The Game Awards are right around the corner. The 2023 edition of the industry celebration will arrive on December 7, with voting now open to fans online. For Nintendo fans, expect to have a lot to vote on, as the company has the most nominations of any other publisher at 15. The announcement was made on The Game Awards official X account:

Leading the way are, of course, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Both games are nominated for Game of the Year honors, and honestly either one deserves the award. Pikmin 4, Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, and Fire Emblem Engage are also up for various awards, and even The Super Mario Bros. Movie has reared its head with a nom for Best Adaptation.
