Nintendo has announced a Nintendo Direct for tomorrow, November 5, at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT.

At the moment, details for the event are limited to a promise of new information regarding upcoming Wii U and 3DS titles, so hopefully we will hear some more information, and maybe some release dates, for the likes of Splatoon, Mario Maker, and Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for more details.

What did people think of the Nintendo Direct?

Nothing got me excited outside of the Majora’s Mask remake… but that alone was enough to justify the event for me. My 3DS hasn’t gotten a lot of love lately so having a game I really want coming out next year is encouraging.

Also nice to see Xenoblade keep getting some attention and at least a broad “target” date of 2015. Here’s hoping it’s the big holiday title next year (if not sooner)!

Splatoon’s single-player teaser was really fun to see. I was already sold on the game but am extra happy to see that solo play isn’t just the multiplayer game with bots but a whole adventure with its own baddies and mechanics.

Majora’s Mask stole the show for me too. But seeing more of Captain Toad, Splatoon, and X always makes me smile.

I hope there’s a demo for Codename STEAM. Its insane combination of characters is really intriguing, but in terms of gameplay I have no idea what I’m looking at. :^)
