After breaking over a decade of tradition by not broadcasting a Nintendo Direct this past June, Nintendo is finally bringing the drought to an end tomorrow morning at 6 AM PST. Fans will be able to tune in for about an hour of footage detailing upcoming projects for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. The company made the announcement via X:
Join us on Sept 12 at 6am PT for a #NintendoDirect! Tune in for roughly 60 minutes of information on upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch games.

In terms of known quantities, games like Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Pokémon Legends: Z-A are both on the way, but beyond that? It is indeed a bit of a mystery. Really, the upcoming slate of Switch 2 games has been a question mark for a while now. Hopefully, tomorrow will shed some light for fans and get them pumped for the system’s future.
