Today’s Nintendo Direct presentation wasn’t only about game announcements (though those were certainly plentiful); the Big N also took this opportunity to announce a new promotion it would be running for the 3DS.
Starting on March 21, fans who purchase a 3DS XL and a copy of either Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon or Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity can receive a free digital copy of a select first-party game. The five titles up for grabs include:
- Super Mario 3D Land
- Star Fox 64 3D
- Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask
- Freakyforms Deluxe
- Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone!
The promotion runs for a little over a month and ends on April 30, so fans who have yet to purchase a 3DS may want to pick one up before this deal expires; it’s not every day Nintendo gives away some of its best 3DS titles completely for free!
