Well this must be pleasant news to Capcom! Monster Hunter, a franchise that has typically found most of its success in Japan, seems to finally have broken the barrier out west! The game, on both Wii U and 3DS, is reportedly sold out in stores across Europe. The official statement from Nintendo of Europe president Satoru Shibata via Twitter follows:
“I’d like to apologise for the current stock shortage due to high demand of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate at retail. New #MH3U stock will hopefully be available in shops next week for Wii U and mid April for Nintendo 3DS. Both versions of #MH3U are also available on Nintendo eShop. Again, I sincerely apologise for causing any inconvenience.”
But do not fret, Europeans, there is expected to be a new shipment to retailers later this month! Enjoy your monster hunting!
